Gazing at this brooch you will be reminded of the ocean waters off the coast of Aruba. The unfoiled navette cabochons range from a beautiful aquamarine color that you would see close to the shore, to a deep, deep blue that you would see a mile or so from shore. The smattering of aurora borealis chatons are like the sun hitting the water in various spots. The open back silver tone settings reinforce the illusion. The condition of this brooch is excellent except for four of the dog tooth prongs missing one one of the navettes. Stone is still very secure and you really have to look hard to notice this one flaw.
Pin measures 2 7/8" by 2 1/2" and is in good condition with the only flaw noted above.
