Sterling faux amethyst earrings

Gorgeous 1940's sterling floral earrings. The amethyst colored oval stones that portray the flowers are unfoiled and possibly genuine amethysts, but I am assuming they are glass. Tiny crystal rhinestones are scattered like baby's breath would be in a bouquet. The flowers are held in a vase type container that is trimmed in crystal rhinestones. These screwback earrings have the remnants of a gold wash, mostly on the back, but the bare silver really looks great with the purple stones. Styling and is equal to that of early Mazer or Reja.

Marked Sterling, these earrings measure 3/4" by 1 1/2" and have very lite pitting visable with 10x magnification. A professional buffing would take care of it if it bothers you.
