Black & gold pin & earrings set
The brooch of this demi parure reminds me of being in the ocean and seeing a huge wave coming toward me. The inside of the wave is set with opaque black chatons while the ends are slim navettes in the same color. They are all prong set in gold tone which keeps the all black stones from looking gloomy. The matching clip earrings have three looped tiers with the slim navettes pointing downward. The slim navette at the left bottom tip of the brooch was professionally reattached at some point but if not pointed out you would never know.
Unmarked, the brooch measures 2 1/2" by 2 3/4" and the earrings 1 1/8" by 1 1/2" with the only condition issue noted above.
