Schreiner earth tone dome brooch
This highly domed brooch is marked Schreiner New York, though you would know it is Schreiner even without the cartouche. The large unfoiled crystal octagon stone has lots of facets adding an interesting effect to anything that may show through it. Surrounding the octagon is two rows of a mixture of lt. Colorado topaz chatons and silver (comet light argent) navettes then another row of alternating marbeled oval cabochons and reverse set stones that have a coppery center with clear edges. There are accenting lt. Colorado topaz chatons on this row too. The setting looks like darkened copper color. Just a wonderful piece as most Schreiner pieces are!
Marked Schreiner New York on an oval cartouche, this brooch measures 2 1/4" in diameter and over 1" high. A few of the silver navettes show some wear on the edges of the top facet, otherwise condition condition is very good.
